Jules Nickerson lives with her husband and dog in Boston. She has a BA in physics from Northwestern University and a PhD in astronomy from UCLA. She writes horror and satire novels that explore contemporary issues, and tends to gravitate toward the kind of horror that is rooted in the realm of possibility. She is particularly drawn to contained settings and bleak endings.
